When it comes to a piece of broken equipment, um…the first thing that I can think of is my rice cooker. If memory serves correctly, I bought it online last July. I almost use it every day, so when it stopped working properly, it really bothered me.

Actually my friend suggested that I buy this cooker. It’s a digital pressure cooker. And it can be controlled by smartphones. You know, at the time, I had just moved to a new apartment from my dorm. And I needed a cooker to make meals at home, so I bought one from Taobao at once.

It worked well at the beginning, but several months ago, I found that it often overcooked the food. I mean, I read the instructions and set it up correctly, but it often cooked the rice too dry.

I bet it must be broken. I was unhappy because I only used it for six months. So I had to contact the customer service of this online shop for repair. Luckily, the customer service staff said they could replace it with a new one for me. So the problem was solved quickly, and they shipped me a new one later. So far, the second cooker still works fine. I hope this kind of thing won’t happen again.
